Super Mario Bros. x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star – Packaging

25 May

Super Mario Bros. x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Packaging

Converse Chuck Taylors have been around long enough to see every single generation of home video games and the latest collaborative release reaches back some twenty-five years to honor one of the industry’s pioneers.  The Super Mario Bros. x Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars brings back memories of the late ’80s for anyone alive back then, their all-over 8-bit print capturing Nintendo‘s resident plumber in a variety of poses.  And Mario’s faithfully reproduced on the special edition box as well, his run along the ground on the side of the box enough to have you searching for the ‘B’ button to make him go faster.  Click through to see more angles and let us know if you’ll try to get a pair of these when they hit retail in Japan this July.  via Kenlu

Dinner at Po Suk Jung Restaurant

24 May

This was my first time to eat at a Korean restaurant. We ordered Angus Beef (specialty of Po Suk Jung), Samgyeopsal, Bibimbap, Korean Pancake and Japchae or Korean glass noodles. The Angus Beef is my favorite, you can slice it without hassle because the meat’s really soft and juicy. The Japchae was flavorful, you dont need to add spices anymore. The samgyeopsal was really nice, you just have to experiment with the side dishes to find the perfect flavor. Wrap the vegetable with garlic and pork belly, you’ll love it. The korean pancake tastes like scrambled egg & it has some vegatables. I didnt like the Bibimbap because of the mushroom flavor. I really dont eat that kind of mushroom but our family members loved it. There’s a soup included if you’ll order Bibimbap. We just ordered five dishes but look our table was full of side dishes. The side dishes: some spicy noodles, fish, vegetables, baked egg (i loved it, it’s really soft), for dessert; green and red apples. The owner gave us free korean ice cream. That was a delicious dinner!

Po Suk Jung is located in Pasig City, near Valle Verde Country Club.

Lipstick vs. Lip gloss

24 May

I asked some people on Yahoo Answers if they prefer lipstick or lip gloss. Looks like most of them prefer to use lip gloss (like me!). Read their opinions/comments below:

Answerer 1:lip gloss

Answerer 2:i like lip gloss cuz of the shine and makes my lips look bigger lol. i see lipstick as more of a BOLD look.

Answerer 3:I prefer both, but if I’m in a hurry, it’s lipstick all the way!

Answerer 4:I prefer the more natural look. Lip gloss gives you a little color and shimmer without the heaviness of lipstick. Plus gloss doesn’t stick to your teeth.

Answerer 5:i prefer lip gloss, but before you put it on, put some chapstick on. then your lips dont have that sticky feeling.

Answerer 6:surely i would prefer shimmering lip gloss

Answerer 7:I prefer both, but if I’m in a hurry, it’s lipstick all the path

Answerer 8:lip gloss

Answerer 9:Lip gloss, it’s more moisturizing usually and a lot more forgiving if you mess up

Answerer 10:i prefer lip gloss because you get colour and shine, with lipsticks you just get a bold colour that you might not want for everyday. I’m not saying lipsticks are bad, i think they are great but lip glosses are better in my opinion :)

Answerer 11:Lipstick works better for me. I don’t like the way lipgloss feels… it drives me crazy feeling that wet, stickyness and I end up wiping it all off within minutes. I also hate shiny lips and I can’t stand how it smears everywhere, especially on teeth. I find that longwear lipstick, such as L’Oreal’s Endless, works great and I can find colors that I would actually want to wear. It doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing anything and it stays put (no lipstick on my teeth).
