Directions
- This is applied as spot treatment only, not for the whole face.
- NEVER use cotton when applying Skinmate Shark Oil as it will irritate skin.
- Apply Skinmate Placenta Cream right after applying Skinmate Shark Oil. It works as a moisturizer.
- After applying shark oil for one straight week, one can now apply it every other night.
My tips
- It is better if you consult a dermatologist about your skin problems.
- Apply it on the affected areas only like on dark spots. Take note that you should not apply it on the whole face.
- After applying it for one straight week, let your skin rest for one to three weeks. Then apply it again but make sure it’s every other night only.
- Don’t use it too much. Too much peeling may lead to skin darkening

Hi I used this thing called shark oil and i think it also suits me. but i think using this products must be continuous because it will give you incredible zits. By the way my concern is that do you use this alone or with the cream?Thanks

that happened to me too, i guess it’s just a normal reaction. the redness will be gone soon. dont scratch your skin to prevent irritation. stop using it for a while and let your skin rest for a week or two. if the redness still continues, stop using it for good and consult a dermatologist.
i have tried skinmate sharks oil both in face and underarm..as instructed,i used the oil for a week and well it has good results but since i am a student, i had to stop because i can’t afford to be absent due to the redness of my face caused by the oil..but with that week of applying the oil, my pores got smaller and my skin got finer..in my underarms, i used it every other night..i tried to apply everynight but my UA became intchy and yeah,i scratched it and result was bad..after 2 weeks i tried it again in my UA and followed the instruction (every other night) and the result was good.it lightened my UA but i felt like i have to give it a rest from peeling so now i apply the oil every other week.first week and third week of the month.hope this helps! and yeah, i used dove deo and soap and a scrub plus lulur scrub..it was very good.i always feel so clean after taking a bath.. i recommend lulur..it’s effective..helps UA to be so cleannnn..

yes, even if it started to peel off… for one straight week you have to apply it. Then after a week, your skin will become red, just let your skin rest and it will fade. Then continue applying every other day or it’s up to you.
i would just like to ask if the skinmate products are safe for pregnant women? i’ve been using the product and it gave me great results. but i’m planning to get pregnant. i would just like to know if its still safe to continue using the product.

it depends on your needs. but just make sure you wont over peel coz it may lead to skin darkening.

let your face rest for 3 days to 1 week. walang ilalagay na toner, shark oil or makeup. mawawala yung redness nya. and use it as spot treatment. apply it on the dark spots only, not on the whole face.

yes, the redness will disappear. avoid using products with alcohol. ang side effects nya redness, wrinkles, thin skin, shiny skin. search mo sa google yung mga tungkol sa peel

This question is for super Diana. I am so desperate over the outcomeof the shark oil. My face is so dangerously red and i am so scared. can you advise on what should i apply to reduce or eliminate the redness? Para plinancha ang mukha ko, as in super pula. Will this disappear? hi, follow the instructions inside the box & don’t apply shark oil continuously. sa dark spots lang sya inaapply, di po sa buong face. let your skin rest. aloe vera can help in soothing the skin.

mahapdi? I appplied this on my UA and it did not irritate my skin and did not became red. It means you’re irritated. I think you should stop using shark oil.
Does the formula have an oil-based or water-based. the consistenct and smell resembles to your usual hydroquinone+tretinoin solution.

Hello, sorry for the late reply. Na-try ko na din yung red spot balm kaso effective lang sya sa light pimple marks. Kaya tinigilan ko na. ‘tong shark oil effective talaga sakin pati sa burnt (super dark) pimple marks ko. May redness nga lang pag ginagamit pero nawawala din naman. Php96 yung 15ml ng shark oil sa metro department store. Yung placenta cream nakalimutan ko na yung exact price, mga php60 siguro.

Sakin 4 days natatapos yung peeling. Ang ginagawa ko nilalagyan ko ng moisturizer. Tas sa ua mas maganda kung mag wax kesa mag shave. Kahit di na lagyan ng placenta cream basta wag sobra ang pag gamit ng shark oil.

hi Ella.. If I were you poh mag stop kna gumamit ng maxipeel.. pag kasi nag stop ka jn tutubuan ka ng pekas.. isa sya sa mga reason kung bkit pumangit face ko huhuuhu.. mas ok ung shark oil.. Ban nga sa Europe ang contents ng Maxipeel masyado matapang hnd healthy sa face and could cause cancer.. matagal mag peel sa maxipeel more than 1 week ung sakin dati.. ung sa shark oil.. 2 days lng nag peel na sa akin.. pa 5 days ko na maya.. may mga area na nag lighten na ^^

Baka hindi ka hiyang. Hintayin mo muna mawala yung pimples bago ka ulit maglagay. Gumamit ka ng pimple gel kagaya ng gamit ko, panoyxyl acne gel. Klangan talaga ng toner para malinis ang face. Kapag nagkapimple ka ulit stop ka na gumamit ng shark oil.

hi! sa experience ko hindi sya nakakatanggal ng pimples. Kung dark spots lang ang problema mo, okay to. As you can see in the pics above, nawala/nag lighten ang dark spots ko.
Mas maganda magpa-consult ka sa derma about you skin problems. I’m using Lush Fresh Farmacy as my cleanser/facial wash tapos Eskinol Pimple Fighting Cleanser na nilagyan ko ng Dalacin C. I don’t recommend the Eskinol with Dalacin C because it might be harsh for your skin. Nabawasan pimples ko. Isa or dalawang pimples na lang ang lumalabas kapag may period ako. You can try them. & don’t wear makeup as much as possible.

For sensitive skin kaya gentle cleanser sya. Nagkapimples ako nung unang gamit ko nun pero nawala din kagad kasi mabilis maka-dry ng pimples yung Fresh Farmacy. Hindi sya nakakatanggal ng dark spots. Nakaka-dry din sya ng skin kaya advice ko gumamit ka ng moisturizer pagkatapos. Gamit ko yung Etude House AC Clinic Gel Lotion. Light moisturizer lang sya, tama lang para sa oily/acne prone skin. May Salicylic acid din kagaya ng Eskinol Pimple Fighting Cleanser. Nakakatulong pareho para mabawasan ang redness ng pimples.

Okay lang naman magtanong.
Ako din problema ko yung dark spots. Hindi natanggal ng shark oil kasi masyadong malalim. Nag try kasi ako ng ibang makeup na may mataas na SPF kaya naglabasan lahat ng pimples ko. Nagsisisi tuloy ako. 
Nag iipon ako para 2 years from now (20 na ko nun) tsaka ko ipapagawa yung treatment for dark spots. Pricey yung treatment (almost 30k) kaya dapat di na ko gaanong pinipimples pag pinagawa para sulit ang bayad.

Pero sa tingin ko nmn po medyo ng light na ung mga dark spots ko. And about po dun sa Eskinol, yan po gamit ko dati kaya lang po habang tumatagal ngkakapimples ako kaya hininto ko po. Feel ko kasi talaga allergic ako sa Mga products na may Salicylic acid 
Ako nga rin po ate gusto ko sana mgpaderma kaya lang baka magalit mama ko.
Spot treatment lang yung Red Spot Balm. Hindi yun normal. Dapat walang allergic reactions yan. I-stop mo na. Kung di effective sayo Salicylic Acid, i-try mo yung mga products na may Tea Tree. Anti acne din kasi yun. Madaming tea tree products ang The Body Shop tsaka natural pa.

Hi. I’m miji. I used this product maybe 1 year ago. I used the combination of the Skin Mate Soap, Skin mate toner, The shark oil, the placenta cream and the sunblock cream. And it was very effective. All the people around me noticed the changed because i have too many acne and acne marks. They keep on asking me where should they buy because they want to use it also. Good thing almost all Malls in Davao have this product. But i am just curious that i came back of using this combination after 1 year now and as i used it recently, Many acne was formed in my forehead, chicks and chin after using the Soap but the Shark oil is still very effective.

Two nights na po akong gumagamit nito on my UA. Sa isang UA ko lang po ito nilalagay para po ma compare ko po yung effectiveness and progress… So far wala pa po akong napapansing peeling. Sa inyo po, gaano ba katagal before niyo na notice yung peeling?

follow the instructions: apply the shark oil for one straight week (every night). then let your skin rest (dont use the shark oil) for 1 to 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, you can apply it every other night. Dont use it too much. Too much peeling will cause skin darkening

Hi this is for whitening. I didnt see any improvement on red spots, pimples and blackheads. This is good for dark spots. You can try facial scrub to remove blackheads. Products with salicylic or tea tree for pimples. I dont know any products for red spots, that’s my current skin problem too.
I first hear this product on ifm radio station, and its sound interesting but they have limited branch only for there products… I almost 1 year suffered of my acne, and make lost my self confidence… I try many products but it make my face worsen…Im lucky now that I found skinmate oil in finds department store at robinsons metro, Im now using to my face for almost 1 week every other night application. Unlike sa sinabi mong 3-5 days na notice ko na more than one week ng magsimulang mag peel yung UA ko. So far na notice ko na nag brighten na yung UA ko especially yung part ng skin folds kaya lang napansin ko din na naging shiny yung UA ko. Natural ba to? Does this mean numinipis yung skin ko sa UA? I skipped using the product yesterday just to be safe.

hi, i suggest may interval po like 1 month bago kayo ulit mag apply. kapag po kasi nasobrahan sa peel ang balat magiging dark po & magkakaroon ng discoloration. kapag wala na pong dark spots/scars, itigil nyo na po ang pag gamit. Gumamit na lang po kayo ng sunblock na may SPF 30 or above kapag lalabas kayo ng bahay.

yung sa ua hindi ko nilalagyan ng deodorant, bakasyon ko lang ginagamit yung shark oil sa ua.
ang ginagawa ng iba, sa umaga tawas lang ang ginagamit tapos sa gabi pagkaligo, shark oil lang.
hindi naman totally pimples mga blackheads at white heads madami,
ah yung iba talaga nagkakaroon ng ganyan. iexfoliate mo na lang pag tapos mag peel para di mairritate skin.

Ginagamit ko po yung placenta cream sa umaga tapos yung shark oil sa gabi. Tapos nakakatulong naman po. Kaso lang po sa umaga, gawa ata nung placenta cream, pagpasok ko sa school sobrang nagiging oily yung mukha ko kaya nagiging mas visible yung pimples ko. Tapos andami na pong nakakapansin at sinasabing ang dami kong pimples. :/ Pwede po bang sa gabi ko na lang gagamitin? hi, for me it did not heal my pimples. I didn’t apply it directly on the pimples. I use other products for my pimples.
first week ko lang ginamit yung placenta cream. Sobrang oily kasi ng skin ko lalo lang magiging oily kapag ginamitan ng rich moisturizer. Serum lang ginagamit ko sa umaga. Moisturizer sya pero watery. Pag gabi naman hindi ko na din nilalagyan ng placenta cream after mag apply ng shark oil. Baka kasi mas nakakadami ng pimples kapag sobrang oily ng face. Yes. pwede yung Eskinol. basta pag umaga facial wash -> eskinol -> moisturizer. pag gabi facial wash-> eskinol -> shark oil -> moisturizer (optional). take note dapat hydrated ang skin. nakakapimples din kapag super dry ng face.
Ate yung facial wash ko po ay Celeteque. Eh moisturizer na din po yun. Pano po pagkakasunod sunod na gagawin ko? Thanks po.

yung iba nagkakapimple kapag medyo malaki yung area na inaapplyan. Kung sa spot lang naman ilalagay hindi na siguro magkakapimple. light peel lang po sya kaya hindi sya gaanong halata lalo na kapag nilagyan mo ng moisturizer bago ka umalis ng bahay.

Ginamit ko po ito ng 3 araw, every other night po pero parang nasunog lang yong aking mukha. Especially sa ilalim ng aking mata. Mas umitim pa at nanigas na parang nasunog. Ano po ba ang pwede kong gawin dito? Mas lalo pa po kasing lumala ang aking problema.

after you apply shark oil, you should apply placenta cream or it depends on you if you want or don’t want to put any moisturizer. take note that your skin will feel tight while you’re undergoing the peeling stage.

Hi, as you can see in the pics above, it’s effective for dark spots. But it won’t work for pitted or shallow acne scars. It depends on how dark the scars are. Mine completely disappered after using it 1 straight week, then 3 weeks akong nag every other day na application. take note na may intervals yan. 3 to 4 weeks ang pahinga ng skin bago ulit mag peel. let your skin rest to avoid scarring and darkening of skin

nope it didnt cause bad odor for me. Im using this kasi while im on vacation kaya i dont use deodorant. and as much as possible I stay in cold places.

i dont know but i had a bad feeling for this skimate brand(no offense but this is just my opinion). i saw the packages and it didnt indicate what its contents were especially in placenta cream and the shark oil. this may contain Alpha Hydroxy Acid (well maybe) because most users experience redness during the peeling process.. the manufacturer should’ve indicated its chemical contents to let the consumers know what type of chemicals they are applying on the skin. The ff are hazardous and MAY BE present on this product: APA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid)- eats up the top layer of the skin causing irritations such as redness, itchiness and skin is easilysun burned after use ; Hyroquinone (BHA)- banned by FDA and is linked to cancer (if added to bleaching creams) ; Retinoids – Vitamin A type which is anti- wrinkle but causes acne breakouts.
i suggest u use organic products like Argan oil, argan soap, cyleina papaya and goats milk soap ,rice bran, shea butter etc. u can google it. Ive seen lots of people but i dont know maybe half of them were satisfied and the other half werent. my mom is a user of skin mate products but i have a much more better skin results than her (im not a skinmate user)…the contents of RDL, Maxi peel, eskinol are way too harsh for the skin and ive seen many who were so sunburned after they failed to maintain the use…i suggest you should go for organic products. and beware of buying things over the counter.

Hi. Peels are like that.. you will experience redness and then darkening of the spots for a few days. The peeling will be completed within 1 or 2 weeks depending on the skin. Pwede naman po gamitin ulit basta may rest

Yes it’s best to apply it as spot treatment using fingers. I think they advice everyone to do that to avoid redness and stinging all over the face.

Spot treatment lang lagi kong ginagawa pero yung peeling nya sakop din yung areas around the spots. Tuloy tuloy kasi pag peel nya. It also depends on your skin tone
