Directions
- This is applied as spot treatment only, not for the whole face.
- NEVER use cotton when applying Skinmate Shark Oil as it will irritate skin.
- Apply Skinmate Placenta Cream right after applying Skinmate Shark Oil. It works as a moisturizer.
- After applying shark oil for one straight week, one can now apply it every other night.
My tips
- It is better if you consult a dermatologist about your skin problems.
- Apply it on the affected areas only like on dark spots. Take note that you should not apply it on the whole face.
- After applying it for one straight week, let your skin rest for one to three weeks. Then apply it again but make sure it’s every other night only.
- Don’t use it too much. Too much peeling may lead to skin darkening
- Avoid sun exposure
- Wear sun block if you’re going out

Hi, my underarms did become lighter but I stopped using it kasi kapag may vacation lang ako may chance na mag peel & di mag deo. Makikita mo talaga yung maitim na skin na napeel. Kapag kasi may pasok I really need deodorant, sweaty kasi underarms ko, hehe. Pero Skinmate na mismo nagsabi na wag gamitin for underarms. Marami kasing nagtry pero nairritate skin nila. 🙂
ok lang ba na gumamit ng rdl babyface then shark oil then placenta cream? 4mos na ako nagsuffer sa acne ko super dami nya both cheeks, hindi tuloy ako makapagdate dahil nahihiya ako sa face ko 😦 pahelp naman. nagtry lang ako ng shark oil after ko mag apply ng rdl babyface sa cheekbone ko, kasi may pimples ako dun paunti unti lang kasi natatakot ako baka hindi ko mahiyang pumapasok din kasi ako. then after nag apply ako ng placenta cream after a few minutes medyo kumati sya, normal lang ba un?
Sorry I dont have an idea what’s Rdl baby face. If it’s a toner, you shouldnt use it while you’re skin is peeling. It sill make your skin irritated and red. Our skin is different from other people. I didnt experience itchiness after applying placenta cream. Consult. Dermatologist about your concern. Based on my experience, this oil is not meant to treat acne. It’s for pigmentations/dark spots.
Gusto ko lang i-share ang experience ko with Skinmate Shark Oil. Gusto ko din kasi makatulong sana sa ibang namomroblema sa dark UA nila. It really really worked for me. Nakita ko agad ang improvement ng colour ng UA ko after applying it every night. Basta hindi mo s’ya papakialaman (hindi mo s’ya pipiliting i-peel kasi kusa naman s’ya magpi-peel at matatanggal ‘yung scales just by rubbing your skin kapag naliligo ka; hindi ka gagamit ng deo, sabon, or anything else). Hayaan mo lang s’ya (oo, tiis-ganda talaga kasi hindi ka muna pwedeng mag-sleeveless). After a week or two, kapansin-pansin talaga na nag-lighten ‘yung UA ko, by using Skinmate Shark Oil alone! Sobrang happy ko talaga kasi kakulay na s’ya ng braso ko. Nakakapag-sleeveless galore na ako, hindi tulad dati. Tip ko din na iwasan ang pagse-shave, ayun ang nakakaitim ng UA eh. Alam ko ‘yung feeling na hanap ka ng hanap ng blog posts to help your with your UA problem, trying to find that one product that would end your woes. Skinmate is the answer.

that happened to me too, i guess it’s just a normal reaction. the redness will be gone soon. dont scratch your skin to prevent irritation. stop using it for a while and let your skin rest for a week or two. if the redness still continues, stop using it for good and consult a dermatologist. 🙂
I just used it after following my sister’s advice.It is the 2nd night since i started using shark oil but i was shocked when the morning comes becoz my face turns out red and when i took a bath and soap my face i notice that it is peeling.What should i do? it depends on your skin’s sensitivity. kapag nagpipeel na, stop using it. it’s okay if you don’t use it for one straight week. once na nag peel na tuloy tuloy na yan. let your skin rest for 1 to 4 weeks after it completely peeled off. then you can use it again. yes, it’s okay for men too.
i have tried skinmate sharks oil both in face and underarm..as instructed,i used the oil for a week and well it has good results but since i am a student, i had to stop because i can’t afford to be absent due to the redness of my face caused by the oil..but with that week of applying the oil, my pores got smaller and my skin got finer..in my underarms, i used it every other night..i tried to apply everynight but my UA became intchy and yeah,i scratched it and result was bad..after 2 weeks i tried it again in my UA and followed the instruction (every other night) and the result was good.it lightened my UA but i felt like i have to give it a rest from peeling so now i apply the oil every other week.first week and third week of the month.hope this helps! and yeah, i used dove deo and soap and a scrub plus lulur scrub..it was very good.i always feel so clean after taking a bath.. i recommend lulur..it’s effective..helps UA to be so cleannnn..

yes, even if it started to peel off… for one straight week you have to apply it. Then after a week, your skin will become red, just let your skin rest and it will fade. Then continue applying every other day or it’s up to you. 🙂

I don’t think it will affect your reproductive system since it’s just your skin. Doctors usually only limit the consumption of ingested products like tablets.

let your face rest for 3 days to 1 week. walang ilalagay na toner, shark oil or makeup. mawawala yung redness nya. and use it as spot treatment. apply it on the dark spots only, not on the whole face.

yes, the redness will disappear. avoid using products with alcohol. ang side effects nya redness, wrinkles, thin skin, shiny skin. search mo sa google yung mga tungkol sa peel

This question is for super Diana. I am so desperate over the outcomeof the shark oil. hi, follow the instructions inside the box & don’t apply shark oil continuously. sa dark spots lang sya inaapply, di po sa buong face. let your skin rest. aloe vera can help in soothing the skin.

mahapdi? I appplied this on my UA and it did not irritate my skin and did not became red. It means you’re irritated. I think you should stop using shark oil.
Does the formula have an oil-based or water-based. the consistenct and smell resembles to your usual hydroquinone+tretinoin solution.

Hi. It was effective for me as you can see in the photos above. Sometimes our skin reacts differently. Better do a patch test first before applying it on the affected areas. Remember to follow the instructions included in the box to avoid irritation. 🙂

Hello, sorry for the late reply. Na-try ko na din yung red spot balm kaso effective lang sya sa light pimple marks. Kaya tinigilan ko na. ‘tong shark oil effective talaga sakin pati sa burnt (super dark) pimple marks ko. May redness nga lang pag ginagamit pero nawawala din naman. Php96 yung 15ml ng shark oil sa metro department store. Yung placenta cream nakalimutan ko na yung exact price, mga php60 siguro.

Sakin 4 days natatapos yung peeling. Ang ginagawa ko nilalagyan ko ng moisturizer. Tas sa ua mas maganda kung mag wax kesa mag shave. Kahit di na lagyan ng placenta cream basta wag sobra ang pag gamit ng shark oil.

hi Ella.. If I were you poh mag stop kna gumamit ng maxipeel.. pag kasi nag stop ka jn tutubuan ka ng pekas.. isa sya sa mga reason kung bkit pumangit face ko huhuuhu.. mas ok ung shark oil.. Ban nga sa Europe ang contents ng Maxipeel masyado matapang hnd healthy sa face and could cause cancer.. matagal mag peel sa maxipeel more than 1 week ung sakin dati.. ung sa shark oil.. 2 days lng nag peel na sa akin.. pa 5 days ko na maya.. may mga area na nag lighten na ^^

Baka hindi ka hiyang. Hintayin mo muna mawala yung pimples bago ka ulit maglagay. Gumamit ka ng pimple gel kagaya ng gamit ko, panoyxyl acne gel. Klangan talaga ng toner para malinis ang face. Kapag nagkapimple ka ulit stop ka na gumamit ng shark oil.

As you can see in the pics above, nawala/nag lighten ang dark spots ko. 🙂 Mas maganda magpa-consult ka sa derma about you skin problems. I’m using Lush Fresh Farmacy as my cleanser/facial wash tapos Eskinol Pimple Fighting Cleanser na nilagyan ko ng Dalacin C. I don’t recommend the Eskinol with Dalacin C because it might be harsh for your skin. Nabawasan pimples ko. Isa or dalawang pimples na lang ang lumalabas kapag may period ako. You can try them. & don’t wear makeup as much as possible. 🙂

For sensitive skin kaya gentle cleanser sya. Nagkapimples ako nung unang gamit ko nun pero nawala din kagad kasi mabilis maka-dry ng pimples yung Fresh Farmacy. Hindi sya nakakatanggal ng dark spots. Nakaka-dry din sya ng skin kaya advice ko gumamit ka ng moisturizer pagkatapos. Gamit ko yung Etude House AC Clinic Gel Lotion. Light moisturizer lang sya, tama lang para sa oily/acne prone skin. May Salicylic acid din kagaya ng Eskinol Pimple Fighting Cleanser. Nakakatulong pareho para mabawasan ang redness ng pimples. 🙂

Okay lang naman magtanong. 🙂 Ako din problema ko yung dark spots. Hindi natanggal ng shark oil kasi masyadong malalim. Nag try kasi ako ng ibang makeup na may mataas na SPF kaya naglabasan lahat ng pimples ko. Nagsisisi tuloy ako. 😦 Nag iipon ako para 2 years from now (20 na ko nun) tsaka ko ipapagawa yung treatment for dark spots. Pricey yung treatment (almost 30k) kaya dapat di na ko gaanong pinipimples pag pinagawa para sulit ang bayad.

Hi. I’m miji. I used this product maybe 1 year ago. I used the combination of the Skin Mate Soap, Skin mate toner, The shark oil, the placenta cream and the sunblock cream. And it was very effective. All the people around me noticed the changed because i have too many acne and acne marks. They keep on asking me where should they buy because they want to use it also. Good thing almost all Malls in Davao have this product. But i am just curious that i came back of using this combination after 1 year now and as i used it recently, Many acne was formed in my forehead, chicks and chin after using the Soap but the Shark oil is still very effective.

I used the product only once and I noticed that my face is peeling off na Do i need to continue it or i will stop it till the peeling effect is gone
follow the instructions: apply the shark oil for one straight week (every night). then let your skin rest (dont use the shark oil) for 1 to 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, you can apply it every other night. Dont use it too much. Too much peeling will cause skin darkening

Hi this is for whitening. I didnt see any improvement on red spots, pimples and blackheads. This is good for dark spots. You can try facial scrub to remove blackheads. Products with salicylic or tea tree for pimples. I dont know any products for red spots, that’s my current skin problem too.
I first hear this product on ifm radio station, and its sound interesting but they have limited branch only for there products… I almost 1 year suffered of my acne, and make lost my self confidence… I try many products but it make my face worsen…Im lucky now that I found skinmate oil in finds department store at robinsons metro, Im now using to my face for almost 1 week every other night application. Hi Diana! Here’s my update of my usage of Skinmate Shark Oil over my UA.
Unlike sa sinabi mong 3-5 days na notice ko na more than one week ng magsimulang mag peel yung UA ko. So far na notice ko na nag brighten na yung UA ko especially yung part ng skin folds kaya lang napansin ko din na naging shiny yung UA ko. Natural ba to? Does this mean numinipis yung skin ko sa UA? I skipped using the product yesterday just to be safe.

good day..i have an underarm problem since high school pa yata to …i tried lots of different underarm products hoping that it will be lighter.. due to strong chemicals from my deodorants i used before, it became dark and i am not comfortable with it..then 1 day, a staff of a salon who did my underarm wax advised me to try skinmate..so,i bought it and after few days it peeled off the dark layer of my skin. I’ve been applying it every night for 1 week and 2 days..kasi later ko na nalaman na dapat rest muna after 1 week..now, my underarm is still red and itching..though bearable naman pero i’m worried baka maging dark ulit ang UA ko kasi lumagpas ng 1 week ang pag gamit ko..ok lang kaya kahit 1 week and 2 days ko syang na apply??? sana naman maging ok pa rin ang result…
yup okay lang as long as may interval ang pag aapply. like mag aapply ka for one straight week tapos 3 to 4 weeks kang di mag aapply ng shark oil. para makarecover ang skin. then use deodorant for sensitive skin o kaya tawas para hindi harsh sa skin. 😉

hi, i suggest may interval po like 1 month bago kayo ulit mag apply. kapag po kasi nasobrahan sa peel ang balat magiging dark po & magkakaroon ng discoloration. kapag wala na pong dark spots/scars, itigil nyo na po ang pag gamit. Gumamit na lang po kayo ng sunblock na may SPF 30 or above kapag lalabas kayo ng bahay.

Hi diana. I used it for 2 days kasi ni recommend ng roomie ko. On the 2nd morning, super red ng spots na inapplyan ko. As in. Parang mosquito bites sa mukha. I don’t wanna go out anymore. ang ginagawa ng iba, sa umaga tawas lang ang ginagamit tapos sa gabi pagkaligo, shark oil lang.

Hello po ate. 15 y.o. High school boy student po ako. Meron po kasi kami sa bahay nung skinmate shark oil at skinmate placenta cream. Ginagamit ko po yung placenta cream sa umaga tapos yung shark oil sa gabi. Tapos nakakatulong naman po. Kaso lang po sa umaga, gawa ata nung placenta cream, pagpasok ko sa school sobrang nagiging oily yung mukha ko kaya nagiging mas visible yung pimples ko. Tapos andami na pong nakakapansin at sinasabing ang dami kong pimples.
Pwede po bang sa gabi ko na lang gagamitin? Tapos pwede ko rin po bang sabayan ng Eskinol Pimple Fighting Facial deep cleanser? Pano po pagkakasunod sunod ng paggamit ko? Reply po kayo ate pleeeeeease. Salamat po ng marami, sobra.

hi, for me it did not heal my pimples. I didn’t apply it directly on the pimples. I use other products for my pimples.
first week ko lang ginamit yung placenta cream. Sobrang oily kasi ng skin ko lalo lang magiging oily kapag ginamitan ng rich moisturizer. Serum lang ginagamit ko sa umaga. Moisturizer sya pero watery. Pag gabi naman hindi ko na din nilalagyan ng placenta cream after mag apply ng shark oil. Baka kasi mas nakakadami ng pimples kapag sobrang oily ng face. Yes. pwede yung Eskinol. basta pag umaga facial wash -> eskinol -> moisturizer. pag gabi facial wash-> eskinol -> shark oil -> moisturizer (optional). take note dapat hydrated ang skin. nakakapimples din kapag super dry ng face.
Ate yung facial wash ko po ay Celeteque. Eh moisturizer na din po yun. Pano po pagkakasunod sunod na gagawin ko? Thanks po.

yung iba nagkakapimple kapag medyo malaki yung area na inaapplyan. Kung sa spot lang naman ilalagay hindi na siguro magkakapimple. light peel lang po sya kaya hindi sya gaanong halata lalo na kapag nilagyan mo ng moisturizer bago ka umalis ng bahay.

Ginamit ko po ito ng 3 araw, every other night po pero parang nasunog lang yong aking mukha. Especially sa ilalim ng aking mata. Mas umitim pa at nanigas na parang nasunog. Ano po ba ang pwede kong gawin dito? Mas lalo pa po kasing lumala ang aking problema. 😦

hi, let your skin rest. don’t apply too much. use it for one straight week only if it’s your first time or every other day, when it’s peeling already then let your skin rest for 3 to 4 weeks. if there are still problems consult a dermatologist.

after you apply shark oil, you should apply placenta cream or it depends on you if you want or don’t want to put any moisturizer. take note that your skin will feel tight while you’re undergoing the peeling stage.

Hi, as you can see in the pics above, it’s effective for dark spots. But it won’t work for pitted or shallow acne scars. It depends on how dark the scars are. Mine completely disappered after using it 1 straight week, then 3 weeks akong nag every other day na application. take note na may intervals yan. 3 to 4 weeks ang pahinga ng skin bago ulit mag peel. let your skin rest to avoid scarring and darkening of skin

nope it didnt cause bad odor for me. Im using this kasi while im on vacation kaya i dont use deodorant. and as much as possible I stay in cold places. 😉

Hi, yung pimples ko nabawasan kasi every two weeks nagpapa facial ako sa Flawless. Take note na may pricking ng pimples kapag nagpa facial. Yung mga kinakain din nakakaapekto sa pimples pati digestion. Kung di naman deep ang acne scars pwede naman malighten sa diamond peel. Try mo din yung LUSH Fresh Farmacy , search mo dito sa blog ko, may review ako nun. Basta pinaka importante yung facial para malinis inside and out yung skin and pores. i dont know but i had a bad feeling for this skimate brand(no offense but this is just my opinion). i saw the packages and it didnt indicate what its contents were especially in placenta cream and the shark oil. this may contain Alpha Hydroxy Acid (well maybe) because most users experience redness during the peeling process.. the manufacturer should’ve indicated its chemical contents to let the consumers know what type of chemicals they are applying on the skin. The ff are hazardous and MAY BE present on this product: APA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid)- eats up the top layer of the skin causing irritations such as redness, itchiness and skin is easilysun burned after use ; Hyroquinone (BHA)- banned by FDA and is linked to cancer (if added to bleaching creams) ; Retinoids – Vitamin A type which is anti- wrinkle but causes acne breakouts.
i suggest u use organic products like Argan oil, argan soap, cyleina papaya and goats milk soap ,rice bran, shea butter etc. u can google it. Ive seen lots of people but i dont know maybe half of them were satisfied and the other half werent. my mom is a user of skin mate products but i have a much more better skin results than her (im not a skinmate user)…the contents of RDL, Maxi peel, eskinol are way too harsh for the skin and ive seen many who were so sunburned after they failed to maintain the use…i suggest you should go for organic products. and beware of buying things over the counter.

Hi. Peels are like that.. you will experience redness and then darkening of the spots for a few days. The peeling will be completed within 1 or 2 weeks depending on the skin. Pwede naman po gamitin ulit basta may rest 🙂

Yes it’s best to apply it as spot treatment using fingers. I think they advice everyone to do that to avoid redness and stinging all over the face.

yes, it works without placenta cream… but you have to keep your skin moisturized when you use any skin peeling product.

I think your skin is sensitive plus ang pagpeel po kasi may interval talaga & darkening of the skin is caused by overpeeling.

yes. but dermatologists recommend that anyone shouldn’t apply creams that have whitening ingredients. use plain moisturizers lang. pag nagpeel off na yung skin…. give it 2 to 3 days tsaka ka gumamit ng moisturizer para effective yung whitening ingredient

kung butas… so pitted or boxcar scars yan. hindi po kaya ng shark oil yan. may pitted scars din po kasi ako caused by acne. dermatological services na po ang makakaimprove ng deep scars.

earbuds may add more redness when you use it. just use your finger and slowly spread it on spots. Okay lang yun para di mairritate skin mo. 🙂

Hi… base sa experience ko mas okay kung wag na muna lagyan ng shark oil kapag nagstart na magpeel. mas mamumula kasi balat kapag na-force magpeel ng magpeel. You can use toner pero dun lang sa skin na hindi mo nilagyan ng shark oil. Kapag nagpeel na or malapit na magpeel wag muna gumamit ng toner kasi mahapdi & mas mamumula skin.

Pagpahingahin mo muna skin mo bago ka ulit mag peel. 🙂 Yup. gumamit ako last month, twice lang ako nag apply. Ang bilis kasi magpeel ng balat ko. Nagka dark spots nanaman ako dahil sa breakout. Naglighten na yung spots after mag peel. May dark spots yung deep acne scars ko hindi kaya ng shark oil. Ibang treatment gagawin ko dun. Inupdate ko pala yung pics sa taas pero last year pa yun. 🙂 Tinatamad kasi ako magpic ngayon pero wala na talaga yung dark spots ko na nasa pic. ;))

hi.. shark oil can cause redness. Products with Aloe are helpful to minimize redness or irritation but it’s still better if you consult a dermatologist. 🙂
Hi! I would like to give an update esp to those people who’s goin to give Skinmate Sharkoil a try. and btw, i bought mine from Watsons at SM Molino, I’ve also seen some in SM Bacoor and SM Dasma.
first of this is my skincare routine (i do this only every night)
Skin condition: oily, acne prone, dark spots, pimle marks and scars, rough skin
Cleanser: Pond’s Perfect Care Facial Wash (my HG)
Toner: DIvinia rice whitening toner (i use any toner, this just happens to be on sale)
Moisturizer: Hayan Oat & Olive Essence (lightweight and non greasy smells good too i change product every month)
For dark spots: Maxipeel Exfoliant Cream #3 (just started to use this from aug 18-22, and this is also effective on my acne marks and scars)
i stopped doing my routine at aug 22 bec im going give sharkoil a try. i only use my cleanser for this routine
this is what the effects sharkoil gave me:
1st day aug 23: no peeling
2nd day aug 24: still no sign of peeling but i noticed my scars and dark spots a bit lighter
3rd day aug 25: still no sign of peeling but face becomes smoother and dark spots lighter
i stopped using the sharkoil the next day (aug 26) bec i dont want to be harsh on my skin and give it a break from using products, and i going to apply the sharkoil again on the weekend for more clearer results. also i noticed redness every time in apply the sharkoil but the redness subsided once the oil settled on the skin. and i will continue to use this product bec it did wonders on my skin! i never thought my skin will be clear again 🙂

I don’t think it’s fake as long as you bought it from Skin Mate. Baka po masyado lang light yung pag apply nyo o kaya po hindi pa fully regenerated yung skin kaya di masyadong nagpeel
I’ve been using this product since 2011 on and off. Pero This year maintenance ko na talaga for a refined and clear skin. I use it on my entire face, dapat lang marunong kang gumamit. The peeling agent of the oil and the placenta cream is vitamin B3 or niacinamide. Once you use the oil, you have to use the cream to reinforce the peeling. They work hand in hand. Pag may lakad kayo sa umaga dapat gumamit talaga kayo ng moisturizer, I tried using the placenta cream sa umaga but it is too thick. Once ok na ang texture ng skin nyo. Peel once or twice every week or 2 weeks depending on your needs. I used to perform kasi sa gigs and events so I needed to look decent every time. This product has been by skin saver ever since I discovered it.
Btw, stay away from the sun! Gamitin ang payong rain or shine. Ang sakit ng araw dito sa Manila compared sa province. But when you peel, the sun is your enermy. You should know better.

Hi i’m not sure about the age. I used this when I was 16 years old. It is best to consult a dermatologist about your skin concerns. Avoid sun exposure whenever you’re under skin peeling. It can cause skin darkness/burn if you over use it without intervals.

i think shark oil can help to mininize dark spots. but if you want to get rid of bacne, use body wash with tea tree oil. The Body Shop has products like that. Avoid scrubbing since the skin is extra sensitive during the peeling process.

It depends on the type of scar. If it’s just hyperpigmentation this will do. But if it’s a keloid it should be treated by a dermatologist 🙂

Hi. Sa experience ko hindi to nakakatanggal ng pimples. Pero may mga nagcocomment din dito na nawala daw pimples nila. It doesnt remove my blackheads. It’s better to have monthly facial to remove blackheads and unclog the pores. sabi ng dermatologist ko kelangan muna magtreatment para mawala ang pimples bago alisin ang mga spots and scars.
Tignan mo din diet mo, dapat ilimit ang pagkain ng oily foods, nuts, milk, dairy products like cheese. Drink lots of water din. Make sure to cleanse your face twice a day and moisturize. Use products that has salicylic acid or tea tree

yun nakalagay sa directions. It still depends on your skin’s sensitivity. My skin is used to chemical peels so I followed the directions. I dont buy the cream anymore but it did help to lighten the skin too.

Hi SuperDiana, Ginamit ko yung shark oil before pero nung nag peel and nag red yung face ko tinigil ko and i used it every other day, then when i stopped it, biglang dumami pimples ko. Ngayong 2014, ginamit ko ulit pero consecutively, araw araw na po. This is my 5th day and sobrang namamalat na siya, namumula tapos ang hapdi po sa mukha parang may mga namumuo sa mukha ko na parang iniiscotch tape. padami siya ng padami habang tumatagal. What should i do? stop using it muna po? i use myra e moisturizer when i go out po sa school and all. I hope you respond i really need help. More power to you blog and thanks! 🙂
Hi. Dapat makapag pahinga muna yung skin mo bago mo ulit gamitin yung shark oil. Avoid sunexposure and wear sunblock kasi sensitive talaga ang skin kapag nagpeepeel. Stop using it muna. The redness will be gone in a few days. Dont peel it off, hayaan mo lang sya magpeel ng sarili nya kasi nakakasugat yun. 🙂
Thank you po! Actually medyo umokay na po siya kaso parang nagpeklat po yung isang side ng face ko, nasunog po ata sa sobrang gamit. I went to watsons and sabi po nila yung mga fresh pimples palang na hindi pa daw po scars kailangan daw po ng salicylic acid before mag shark oil, effective po kaya yun? kasi i was thinking na ipa dry muna pimples ko sa facial wash na may salicylic then gagamitin ko na po yung shark oil. 🙂 Thanks for the info!

Dont use it too much as overpeeling can lead to further skin darkening. It’s best to consult a dermatologist for burns. Malapit po ba kayo sa makati? If yes, I can recommend my derma’s clinic. 🙂

Hello, I’ve used skinmate products since last year pero hindi tuloy-tuloy kasi nauubusan ng stocks. I use the toner (day and night) + shark oil (every other night or twice to thrice a week) + placenta cream (day and night) and it’s very effective. nakakatanggal sya ng blackheads and whiteheads so yung mga possible pimples sana hindi na natutuloy. never use any moisturizer other than skinmate placenta cream after using shark oil kasi ang placenta cream serves as a soothing cream for the effect of peeling. my colleague used the shark oil with moisturizer of other brands and nakakafeel xa ng hapdi. but when she used the skinmate placenta cream, hindi na nya mafeel ang reaction ng face nya due to peeling and she liked the result after two weeks. 😉

I started using Skinmate Shark Oil 4 days ago. 1st day, no peeling but when I woke up the next day, 2 pimples with blisters appeared on my face. 2nd day, light peeling.3rd day, noticeable peeling. Mahapdi. And may mga dark spots na nagaapear. Mejo flaky na din yung peeling. At sobrang pula ng mukha ko. 4th day ngayong umga, grabe na yung flakiness ng mukha ko. White naman yung pagpapalit ng balat niya. Drcided not to attend my classes ngayon kasi grabe talaga ang peeling.. 😦 ano na gagawin ko?
hi there, did you just do spot treatment or you applied it on the whole face? It should only be spot treatment only. Use mild soap to wash your face to avoid irritation. Don’t prick, scratch or pull the skin that’s already started to peel so it wont cause dark spots/darkness

I used Shark oil in my UA I started to use it since Thusday last week and I apply it everynight, but yesterday (Wednesday) I stopped using it, i noticed maliliit na Butlig with water sa loob yung mukhang paso pero maliliit and Until now meron padin sya. Di po ako naglagay ng deo… Bakasyon po kc ako gumagamit nitong peel. Open po kasi yung pores baka may harmful chemicals na pumasok 🙂

hi po, bumili po kasi yung kapatid ko ng product na toh, so sinubukan ko na rin, nung una poh sa around the eyes ko lang po nilagay, at pagkagising ko poh mas nagbrighten na poh ang skin around it, pero medyo mahapdi poh, nakitA ko pong maganda ang result so nilagay ko poh sa mukha dahil sabi daw nakakatanggal ng blackheads at white heads… at nagulat poh ako, wla na po mga blackheads koh, pero nag medyo pink po yung mukha koh.,, medyo nagpepeel na din po siya, so itinuloy ko nalng, at pagkagising ko sumunod na araw namumula na yung mukha ko, at medyo mahapdi pagnaghilamus, pagkatspos kong maghilamus nagulat nalng ako na grabeh na yung pagpepeel nya.., Tanung ko lang po kung hanngang kalian ang pamumula at pagpepeel at habang nagpepeel ang mukha ko at namumula, gagamitin ko pa ba ang shark oil? o yung cream na lang? o wala na akong gagamitin.. ty poh…
Hi normally the redness and peeling for me are gone within a week… But it still depends on the person’s skin. Remember to use gentle cleansers and do not use toner while the skin is still peeling. Dont scratch the skin too to avoid redness and lesions. 🙂

dont scratch or rub the skin cause it will cause irritation and wrinkles. Apply the moisturizer to avoid wrinkles. Within a week natanggal yung pagka-shiny ng skin ko. 🙂

Nope. Baka magcontradict sila. Skin is really sensitive once it’s peeled. Kojic soaps can cause stinging, redness and burns.

I use it every other day dati and I use my regular body soap (safeguard) without scratching or scrubbing the area. Napansin ko rin yun. Medyo bumagal mag peel kasi my skin got used to it na. Im using it when Im on vacation lang at home para I dont need to apply deodorant. 🙂

Hi, I dont follow the given instructions. Bina-base ko sa skin ko. It depends on your skin type. Baka hindi ka hiyang. I use it on the face na lang. for underarms, every other day lang ako nag lalagay kasi my skin got used to it. Then tigil na pag nagpeel na. I let my skin rest for a month. It didnt feel itchy. Dont use any acid-based soaps like kojic and calamansi. Dont scratch it. Overpeeling can cause skin darkening. You dont need to follow the instructions. Obserbahan mo yung reaction ng skin mo😊
Hi ate. First day ko po gumamit ng shark oil kagabi. Nirecommend kasi sakin ng sister ko, sabi niya kasi effective sa mga kaibigan niya. Btw I’m 17 yrs. old. Finollow po kita sa I.G. hehe. Sana effective to sakin. Nung inapply ko po kagabi di naman mahapdi, parang wala lang. Hopeless na kasi ako, bigla nalang ako nagkapimples. Nung una isa lang tapo s dumami. Dati rati pinupuri nila ako kasi sobrang kinis ng face ko but now everytime I looked in the mirror, nadedepressed ako. Nawala kasi pimples ko nung nagpafacial ako. Pero may naiwan na dark spots. Gusto ko na bumalik yung dati kong face 😦 Update ko nalang po kayo pag okay yung result. Sana mabasa mo to. 🙂

First night ko po kagabi, inintroduce ng mom ko,well ok naman siya, kaso nilagay ko siya sa buong face ko, lately ko na nabasa mga reviews na hindi pala dapat whole face, hindi naman ako pinipimple sa buong mukha, sa may baba at gilid ng ilong, pero hindi naman po ganun kalala, lately lang sa my baba, pag nagkapimple mga ilang days mawawala yung sakit then magkakaron naman ng sakit sa katabi, ganun lang nagiging cycle niya and ang pangit na ng chin ko dahil nagleleave ng marks kahit hindi ko naman piniprick or something.
Okay lang po ba na yung facial wash ko eh ponds then yung toner is sensè(alcohol free naman po from USANA products) then kagabi po hindi ko po nilagyan ng any cream after ko mag apply, pwede po ba night cream ng USANA din gamitin ko? Instead na yung placenta cream? Hindi pa kasi ako nakakbili tinatry ko pa lang yung shark oil 😊

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I do not apply toner & moisturizer sa nilagyan ko ng oil. Mas mabilis mag peel sa akin pag ganon. Kasi pag nagtoner ka sa area na yon baka mamula. You can use other moisturizer if you like as long as it doesnt have alcohol, salicylic acid and exfoliating ingredients. 🙂

Hi, happy new year! Sorry for the late reply. It actually depends on your skin. Mine can take a month na every other night. Just stop if you think it’s too red and if you think your skin’s irritated. Pakiramdaman lang not to overpeel kasi mangingitim kapag nasobrahan.😊

Hello.. I’m putting soap,toner, cream at daytime ..while at night I used soap,shark oil and cream..is it right? Today is my 4th day ngpeel na sya..mga ilang days b nawa2la yung pgkapeel..ok lang b yan sa daytime pgkatapos mga gay ng toner and cream is mglagay ng Johnson baby powder? Hi, sorry for the late reply. I personally do not recommend using toners kasi baka mairritate. Maximum of 1 week tapos na peel ng sakin. Dont put powder. Just dab (dont swipe) a tissue once you’re done applying the oil. 🙂

Yes okay lang yun. Yung tawas I’m not sure kasi hindi talaga ko naglalagay ng kahit ano kapag ng peel na. Pero may nagcomment dito tawas ang ginamit nya after magpeel. It’s up to you.
