LUSH Fresh Farmacy review

Hello there! So today I’m going to talk about my favorite cleanser, Fresh Farmacy from LUSH.

The soap

The first time I used this… It gave me pimples. But then they were dried fast. This is a gentle cleanser. So if you don’t like harsh cleansers, this one’s for you too! It’s a bit expensive. It costs 395 pesos for 100 grams. We usually buy more  than that because this soap melts so easily. We always tell the SA to cut it into 6 pieces or more. We also have separate container for this so that we wont waste any of it.

Pros:

• It dries my pimple faster than any other cleanser!
• Helps with redness
• My skin feels so fresh and clean after using this.
• Available at shopping malls.

Cons:

• Doesn’t remove makeup. Be sure to use makeup remover before washing your face with this.
• Expensive

I’m so dumb because I thought other cleansers are better than this one. I used other cleansers and they gave breakouts. I’m back to Fresh Farmacy and my pimples are gone now. Thanks to LUSH! But the breakouts left A LOT of deep and super dark acne scars. Augghhh I don’t know how to get rid of them.

Olay Natural White All in One Fairness Day Cream review

The packaging:

The cream:

It smells the same with other Olay products.

Pros:

• affordable
• good moisturizer
• light
• with UV protection
• effective!
• available at supermarkets, drugstores and beauty stores like Watsons.
• available in sachet like mine and in a tube.

Cons:

• with paraben.
• I didn’t like the feeling when I used this because my skin is so oily plus it’s summer and it’s super hot! @___@

I’ve used this for 2 weeks and I can say that it’s effective. My skin is a bit lighter now.

This cream is good for dry skin and for not so oily skin. I prefer to use serums/essence if I’m in hot places because they are lighter compared to creams. BUT my skin is dry when I’m in an air conditioned place so I think this cream is perfect for that.

My zit zappers: Eskinol Dermaclear-C Overnight Pimple Gel & PanOxyl Acnegel 10%

I’m using 2 zit zappers: Eskinol Dermaclear-C Overnight Pimple Gel & PanOxyl Acnegel 10%

I’ll share my thoughts first on Eskinol Dermaclear-C Overnight Pimple Gel. Here are the pros and cons;

Pros

• very affordable. I think it’s less than 100 pesos
• clear gel
• doesn’t dry the skin
• a little amount goes a long way
• lasts for monthsss

Cons

• It stings
• Gives burning sensation
• Doesn’t dry pimples overnight. It dries pimple after 2 to 7 days depending on how big it is.
• Leaves super dark spot cause it burns

Next up is  PanOxyl Acnegel 10%

Pros

• I can feel light stinging only
• A little amount goes a long way
• It leaves light acne marks only
• This is the only thing that cleared my breakouts on the forehead
• If the pimple is small, it will be dried asap (not overnight)

Cons:

• Dries up pimple 2 to 7 days. If it’s big it will take longer.
• It’s expensive. The 10 grams is 207 pesos at Mercury Drug Store
• Leaves a dark patch where you applied it but it will come off in a few days.
• Gives flaky skin around the pimple

So here are my zit zappers. I’m happy with them though I wrote a lot of cons. There’s no such thing as overnight treatment unless you’ll undergo a special acne treatment when you visit a dermatologist.

Etude House AC Clinic Gel Lotion review

I got this from an auction. Hihi. I always buy the trial pack first before buying the full size bottles. Just to see if the product will suit my skin or not.

This product is for people who have oily and acne prone skin. I really like that it’s just a light lotion. Do not use thick creams if you have oily skin because they can cause breakouts.

Pros:

• light texture
• good moisturizer for oily skin
• it can dry pimples (small ones)
• the full size is affordable, less than Php500
• controls the redness of my pimples

Cons:

• doesn’t prevent breakouts

I bought 4 trial sizes and I’m down to the last one. So far this is a good moisturizer for me. It doesn’t prevent breakouts but it still helps to control them. I will purchase the full size. \:D/

Tony Moly Expert Triple BB Cream review

It’s the start of my summer vacation. I missed doing this. hehehe! So today I’m gonna review another Tony Moly product. We got this as gwp.

Sorry for the crappy photo. The batteries for my cam are too old . They can’t open my cam anymore. Gotta buy new ones! ^O^

Pros:

• Good coverage
• Whitening
• Anti Wrinkle
• With SPF
• Dewy finish
• Gives glow to the skin

Cons:

• The full size is a bit expensive
• Kinda thick

This BB cream is kinda thick and creamy. It’s for oily and sensitive skin but IDK why it’s thick. The packaging and the trial pack might have an effect. Not sure. The color is just the same with Dear Me Petite Cotton BB Cream.  I really want to show you the shade of it but I don’t want to waste any of it because it’s a good BB Cream. Overall this is another good BB Cream from Tony Moly.

I’m planning to buy the Honey Bee BB Cream because it’s for acne prone skin. Watch out for my review about it!

Tony Moly Appletox Smooth Massage Peeling Cream review

Me and my sister went to the mall. So I bought this and got a freebie, Fresh Aqua Tear Drop Toner. I’ll be reviewing about it too. This is my late Christmas gift for myself.

Description From Tony Moly’s website:
Multi-functional cream that effectively removes Keratin and double up as a massage cream with a nourishing pack function. Containing Green Apple extract, AHA and Papaya extract, this Appletox pack provides excellent exfoliation of dead skin cells and aged Keratin. Skin is kept smooth and radiant.

Directions
After daily cleansing, apply an appropritate amount onto the skin and gently massage in a circular motion. Once dirt particles appear, simply rinse off with lukewarm water. Recommended to use 1~2 times a week.

Cautions
For external use only. Do not apply to areas of the skin where sores, Eczema or dermatitis occur. Do not swallow and avoid contact with eyes or on skin which is sensitive to bandages or pad cloth. Discontinue usage and consult a dermatologist if signs of skin irritation and/or rash appear. Keep out of reach to children and store product away from direct sun exposure.

The packaging, it’s so cute. I keep this in the fridge. I love cold masks/pack. When it’s all used up, I’ll still keep the cute container.

It has a plastic cover at the top. Hygienic, eh?

Good thing this cream is not that thick compared to others. I hate super thick creams/pack, Im too lazy to remove all the residues. lol. XD

You can immediately see the results like this one. Those grayish things are dirt from my skin.

Pros:

• You can see the effects fast.
• Affordable, 528 pesos
• light weight
• not too thick, easier to be removed.
• cute packaging
• the smell is not strong
• relaxing
• did not give breakouts

Cons:

• so far I don’t have cons for this product.

I’m glad I bought this. Another amazing product from Tony Moly.
