My zit zappers: Eskinol Dermaclear-C Overnight Pimple Gel & PanOxyl Acnegel 10%

7 May

I’m using 2 zit zappers: Eskinol Dermaclear-C Overnight Pimple Gel & PanOxyl Acnegel 10%

I’ll share my thoughts first on Eskinol Dermaclear-C Overnight Pimple Gel. Here are the pros and cons;

  • very affordable. I think it’s less than 100 pesos
  • clear gel
  • doesn’t dry the skin
  • a little amount goes a long way
  • lasts for monthsss

  • It stings
  • Gives burning sensation
  • Doesn’t dry pimples overnight. It dries pimple after 2 to 7 days depending on how big it is.
  • Leaves super dark spot cause it burns

Next up isΒ  PanOxyl Acnegel 10%

  • I can feel light stinging only unlike with Eskinol’s Pimple Gel
  • A little amount goes a long way
  • This is the only thing that cleared my breakouts on the forehead
  • If the pimple is small, it will be dried asap (not overnight)
  • The packaging is really convenient. All the gel will surely be used. πŸ˜‰

  • Dries up pimple 2 to 5 days. If it’s big it will take longer.
  • It’s expensive. The 10 grams is 207 pesos at Mercury Drug Store
  • Leaves a dark patch where you applied it but it will come off in a few days.
  • Gives flaky skin around the pimple
  • Leaves super dark spot too

So here are my zit zappers. I’m happy with them though I wrote a lot of cons. There’s no such thing as overnight treatment unless you’ll undergo a special acne treatment when you visit a dermatologist.

If you’ve tried these products, what are your experiences while using them?

If no, what’s your zit zapper? Comment and share below. πŸ™‚

hey, diana! does panoxyl clears your dark spots?

    • SuperDiana May 21, 2012 at 7:20 am #

nope. actually it leaves darker acne scars but it heals every pimple fast. if you want you can try Skinmate Shark Oil or any peeling oil. It peels the skin. Skin peeling is the fastest way to remove dark spots.

hi, I bought the panoxyl at Mercury Drug. You can check if they have the Clean & Clear pimple gel too.

        • SuperDiana December 20, 2012 at 4:45 am #

    • SuperDiana August 21, 2012 at 4:00 am #

3 days po kapag maliit na pimple lang. Kapag malaki umaabot ng 7 to 10 days. I dont suggest you to use these products.

hi diana. i use all 3 of them, panoxl, eskinol & clean n clear. i frequently have them under my lips around my chin area ( where they only oddly pops out ). However, lately i ran out of eskinol but went to check mercury around alabang area, they are no longer available. so as at cosmetics section in the mall. I didnt fuzz about it cos i still got the other 2. I started to worry when they ran out too and was told by the pharmacist that panoxyl is already obsolete in mercury & so are the other 2. what to do?

    • SuperDiana October 3, 2012 at 1:50 pm #

    • SuperDiana October 3, 2012 at 1:44 pm #

hi, mas mapapabilis lumiit ang pimples kapag gumamit nyang mga products. pero lalo kasing magiging dark ang scars pag nawala na yung pimples. try mo yung tony moly intense repair live snail essence o kaya yung lush fresh farmacy. search mo dito sa blog ko may reviews ako nun. πŸ™‚

Hi po, eh sa mga 12 – 13 years old po pwede po ba gamitin yung eskinol at panoxyl hindi po ba masisira yung face ng tao?

    • Bettina December 26, 2012 at 12:09 pm #

      • SuperDiana December 26, 2012 at 12:44 pm #

hi, sad to say phased out na yung Panoxyl Acne Gel. Masyado pang bata kapag 12 to 13 years old. Hayaan mong mawala pimples naturally.

      • SuperDiana December 29, 2012 at 3:41 am #
