Tea Tree Oil Products in PH

6 Dec

Tea tree oil is a well known anti-acne ingredient. What are its other uses? It is applied to the skin (used topically) for infections such as acne, fungal infections of the nail (onychomycosis), lice, scabies, athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), and ringworm. Source: WebMD

At first, I didnt like it but I fell in love with it when I saw the effects on my skin. I made a list of products from different brands which are accessible. They are available at shopping malls. You don’t have to order them online.

Please take note, not all tea tree oil products are the same. They differ depending on the other ingredients included.

This is the best in this list because it has one ingredient only and that is Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil. Description: Using strict sustainable agricultural practices, a federation of plantation owners who embrace the Australian Tea Tree Environmental Alliance, produce this pure Tea Tree Oil that is guaranteed free of herbicides, pesticides, and chemicals. For external use only. Their 15ml size is available at Healthy Options for Php 539

This is the first tea tree oil I’ve known because it’s a raved product all over the internet. You’ll get 10ml for Php 495 to 565 ($10 to $12). direct link to their website

Ingredients: Aqua (Solvent/Diluent), Alcohol Denat. (Solvent/Diluent), PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil (Emulsifier), Polysorbate 20 (Emulsifier), Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil (Natural Additive), Limonene (Natural Additive), t-Butyl Alcohol (Denaturant), Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil (Skin Conditioning Agent), Citral (Natural Additive), Leptospermum Petersonii Oil (Natural Additive), Denatonium Benzoate (Denaturant), Tocopherol (Antioxidant).

ZEN ZEST Tea Tree Oil

I got this instead of TBS because it’s way more affordable. You’ll get 15ml for Php 150 ($3+), I couldn’t compare its effects since I haven’t tried TBS yet. Click here for my full review

HUMAN HEART NATURE Tea Tree Heritage Oil

I think this only came out last year or 2 years ago. It’s great because you’ll get a 30ml bottle for only Php 295 ($6+). direct link to their website

Ingredients: Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf essential oil

GIGA Tea Tree Oil

From the past reviews of bloggers, this costs around Php 160 ($3+) for 10ml. It’s 220 pesos on Lazada’s online shop. direct link to their website

Please let me know if you have other tea tree oil-based products that I can include in this list…. something that can be bought in-stores if possible. 🙂

If you do have Innisfree there, they do have a Tea Tree range that include the oil as well…

I love the Australian brand Thursday Plantation. They do a range of Tea Tree products including facial gel, facial creams and of course tea tree oil.

I’ve also used Tea Tree oil to scare off mosquitos and other biting insects. It’s also great for insect bites.

    Great post!

    Think it. Dream it. Blog

Hi have you tried them especially that product from GIGA? What are their differences? I’m really curious about the product from GIGA because I just bought one and thinking to use it with a shampoo.
