First Impression: Rucy’s Vanity Foam Cleansing Green Tea

I couldn’t end the week without talking about skin care. We have another fist impression post today. It’s for Rucy’s Vanity’s Foam Cleansing Green Tea. This also available in Aloe and Pomegranate.

I love green tea whether it’s just the scent, in food, drink or cosmetics. It’s one of my most favorite ingredients.

Removes make-up, dirt, impurities and excess oil. Leaves skin perfectly clean with deep cleansing action. Contains collagenn and green tea. Green tea extracts effectively remove harmful bacteria in your skin occurred by makeup and environmental pollution.

-Very affordable, Php 130 for 100ml
-Simple packaging
-Easy to dispense
-It has aloe, vitamin E, licorice root extract and marigold (calendula officinalis) and collagen
-Green tea scent
-Little goes a long way
-Lathers well
-Doesn’t dry out the skin
-Easy to rinse
-No film/sticky residue

-Has parabens

The consistency is light and creamy but it lathers really well even if you only use a pea size amount. I couldnt find the green tea in the ingredients list. I’m assuming it’s the scent? Because it does smell like green tea especially when lathers up.

Overall, I’m satisfied with it. It removes oil and I’m glad it doesn’t dry out my skin. It’s easy to rinse and doesn’t leave a film. No stickiness at all. I’d also get the other variants. I also like the packaging.. all their product packaging in general because you’ll know you are not only paying for a pretty design but the product itself works really well. You’ll get 100ml for 100 pesos only. I think it’s a great deal… Especially this week since this cleanser is on sale for 25% off. πŸ™‚

Rucy’s Vanity extended their sale until December 17, 2015. All products are on sale and 25% off with additional freebies for above 500 pesos purchase! Visit their website

First Impression: Rucy’s Vanity Whitening Set

Happy weekend readers! It’s the first week of December.😱 I have 3 skin care products for you guys. This set can be for yourself or for anyone that you’d like to treat.❀️

It’s a first impression post so you’ll have an idea how it feels on the skin. This set was sent by the Korean brand and Im very grateful for it. As always, everything in this post is still my 100% honest opinion. Let’s start~

Rucy’s Vanity Whitening products are packed with arbutin, aloe, morus alba bark and green tea. Arbutin is known for whitening while aloe, morus alba and green tea are calming and anti-aging ingredients. They also have a hint of rose scent.

Perfect whitening formula for women. Contains vitamin E & collagen also known for brightening and moisturizing for a healthy young looking and damage-free skin. Suitable for all skin types and sensitive skin. Whitening, Moisturizing, Contains Vit. E & Collagen, Oil-free, Water base, Suitable for all skin types and sensitive skin, Hypoallergenic & Non-comedogenic

Whitening Toner
This toner is very light and watery. It gives quick hydration. It doesnt feel sticky at all. It soaks in the skin just like water and it doesn’t dry out my skin. It’s 100ml bottle for Php140 ($3).

Whitening Serum
This is probably my most favorite out of all the three. It has more added ingredients; collagen, shea butter, olive oil, grapeseed oil, portulaca oleracea, gingko biloba, adenosine and vitamin E. It gives enough hydration for me. It’s very refreshing although it’s not as watery as other serums. Its consistency is like a runny lotion. It also soaks in the skin quickly without leaving an oily/sticky residue. It’s 60ml for Php210 ($5).

Whitening Lotion
The consistency of this one looks thick at first… But once you spread it around it’s as light as the serum. It’s a nice addition especially for those who have dry skin since it seals the moisture. It’s a 100ml bottle for Php160 ($3.40).

The lotion and toner has a paraben while the serum is paraben-free.

Overall, Im very satisfied with them especially if you look at the amount of products you’ll get for an affordable price. Imagine you’ll almost have a complete skin care routine for only 510 pesos. I think it’s a steal. I like how they feel on my skin. The packaging is simple and yet the product quality is really good. They did not irritate nor cause breakouts for me. You’ll see results if used consistently. πŸ™‚ πŸ‘―

First Impression: MISSHA Speedy Solution Anti Trouble Patch

Hi readers! This week’s theme is spot treatment. Im back with another product but this time it’s a first impression post. Patches have been popular in Korea for quite a while now. All these patches claim to soothe and minimize acne.

I’ve used one from COSRX. It’s the most popular in the market. It worked great! I decided to explore other brands. These patches from Missha received a lot of good reviews too. I had to try it out. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘―

Use the Speedy Solution Anti Trouble Patch to treat your skin troubles. The clear patch goes directly onto the trouble spot for a relieving effect.

First Impression: Grinif Rawganic Jojoba Golden Oil

Good evening readers! This is a first ever “first impression” post. I’ll post what I think about a product after using for the first time. Just to give you an idea about a new product.

Btw, I got this from Memebox Daily Dose of Beauty. Grinif is a korean brand which uses natural ingredients. It’s tag line is “Skintherapy by nature”. Rawganic refers to non processed, purely natural ingredients.

Here’s the full description:
imageFull Ingredients:

Jojoba Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate

Apply desire amount, press slightly using fingers to help skin absorb the oil faster.

My swatches:

Here’s what I think about after using the product:

– Love the classy packaging
– 50 ml which is big. You can use this for a long time.
– Few ingredients, very few. You’re sure that the product is organic.
– Smells really good. Lavender scent is soothing and relaxing. Im thinking of putting it on my neck before I sleep to helps me relax.
– Little goes a long way
– Very moisturizing. Dry skin will love this.
– It takes longer to be absorbed compared to other moisturizers
– Jojoba oil is multifunctional. It can also be mixed with foundation for a dewy look and can be a highlighter alone
– Makes skin glow, like you’ve just used a highlighter.

Overall, this is good for those who need moisturizing and those who like to boost skin. For oily skin like me, you might not like this because it gives glow and skin might get too glowy if you’re oily already. It’s multifunctional as an aid for dewy look and highlighter. I got those tips from Wayne Goss.
