Hello readers, sorry if I’m taking too long to post reviews. I’m back and I made a lot of drafts. Let’s start with another skin care. I found out about Alba Botanica’s cleanser when I went to Healthy Options years ago. Since then, it’s in my wish list.
– fights breakouts even after you rinse
– 70% tested saw clearer skin in just 7 days

Clean them up with this powerful, botanically effective acne wash. Formulated with zit-zapping Salicylic Acid and Willow Bark Extract, this lathering cleanser digs deep into pores to unclog the gunk, helping banish existing zits and prevent new ones. I wanted to try this but I was afraid it’ll be too strong for me. My sister bought a bottle last month. I’m seeing blackheads and whiteheads that are not yet on the surface of the skin. It’s my chance to test its magic. I want to get rid of bumps but they cant be pricked yet. I thought this cleanser was the reason of my breakout before but it’s not. The pimples were in the location of black/whiteheads I mentioned. So it definitely pushes everything out I couldn’t prick.
It has a citrus scent which reminds me of Fruitos candy.😛 It’s cooling because of the peppermint. It doesnt foam up well unlike other cleansers. It’s gel type which leaves a film. I never liked the feeling of it and it takes time to rinse. After washing it off, it’s a little drying and tightening. Immediately follow it up with a toner and moisturizer. This cleanser has 2% salicylic acid which is a good treatment alone in my opinion. You can also use a spot treatment if you want.
Too bad it triggered my contact dermatitis. Peppermint, orange and bergamot oils can be irritants. If it did not irritate me, I’d use it regularly in my routine. I feel refreshed when I use this especially after a workout or a long day of wearing makeup. This is a strong cleanser. Its ingredients are ideal for oily skin that isn’t sensitive with moderate to severe acne. It will clean out pores so the skin can breathe.
